Description
The specimen shows an adult trachea and a normal thyroid gland; when the specimen is viewed
from the right hand side on ovoid nodule approximately 1.5 x 1 cm is seen; this is distinct from
the inferior pole of the thyroid and is a parathyroid adenoma.
